März 1922 in New York, USA; 8. (wiki) // Marilyn loved the still camera. The still camera "effected that love. Never was it more evident than in the five-year collaboration with Milton Greene. So many Monroe books have materialized since her death with so many images, so many claims of intimacy that it seems trite to say something special happened with a particular photographer, But look, just look at these pictures culled from nearly fifty sittings---the gypsy irr the window, the scrubbed graduate, the pool nymph, the wistful ballerina-look and say there is not something singular about this exchange. Look and say the man behind the lens does not emerge as vividly as the woman in front of it. Lovers? Marilyn had lots of lovers, She liked making love. So did she. But this was a threesome: Marilyn, Mitton, and the camera, "Milton was never in love with Marilyn," asserted their friend Jule Styne. "He loved the face in the lens." What happened between them transcended sex (S. 13) ISBN 9783888146572 Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 495. Codice articolo 1195762
