Sinossi
Zayas es la primera mujer novelista de la literatura española. Los "Desengaños" son el segundo conjunto de novelas que aparecieron en 1647. Están escritos con el deseo de defender el buen nombre de las mujeres y advertirlas de los engaños masculinos. Defendió el derecho de la mujer a la cultura y a desempeñar cargos de responsabilidad.
