Jacob Vossestein is a human geographer and social anthropologist who has worked with people from many different cultures - and visited more than 60 countries. Since 1984 he has been a cross-cultural trainer, many years of which were at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam. Vossestein is also the author of several other books in Dutch (published by KIT Publishers): Vreemd Volk, on patterns of worldwide cultural differences, Werken met Oost-Europa, and Werken met India on work effectiveness for Dutch people dealing with Eastern Europe and India.
