Each one being a unique and original work of art, most of them having never been published before, all treated with modern concepts of conservation at textile museum and forming the most comprehensive group specific to this type and region, the collection appear as a unitary and coherent group. The main characteristics of these Konya - Cappadocia carpets which are closest to the kilims among Anatolian carpets in construction, purpose and shape, manifest itself in color and unique geometrical and traditional motives.
