Riassunto: The cure for MS may possibly be within these pages. Learn how to beat MS in this remarkable new book that describes in detail all the things you need to know that your doctors couldn't or wouldn't tell you. An MS patient who refused to accept there were no answers for this disease, Nadine A. Wooley offers time proven research and her own inspired account of a cure that is returning her to the ambulatory life she once knew. In language that is clear and down-to-earth, she talks both to those who have the disease and to those who care about them. This book is a potential breakthrough for MS.
L'autore: Nadine A. Wooley grew up on a ranch on the Oregon Coast and graduated with a B.A. from Whitman College in 1977. She became a lumber trader and ran ten marathons before being diagnosed with MS in 1988. Her first book, Going the Distance: the Portland Marathon, was published in 1990, just a year-and-a-half after she completed five more marathons. By the fall of 1992 she could no longer run. Nadine describes herself as a professional MS patient. She lives with her husband Les and their daughter Ann Marie in Portland, Oregon.
