L'autore: Herbert Beigel is a graduate of Brandeis University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He also holds an MFA in Fiction writing from the University of Arizona.  He was a Special Attorney for the Organized Crime Section of the United States Department of Justice, where he prosecuted public corruption and Organized Crime cases and has been a trial lawyer in private practice for forty-two years.   He has also taught writing in the film departments at the University of Arizona and Florida State University.  His new novel, The Justice Tapes, was published in January, 2012 and is available in an E book edition on Amazon.

Mr. Beigel has also produced several films, including Heavy (1996) and First Love Last Rites (1998).  He wrote and directed the filmCamp Stories (1997).  He is also the author of Beneath the Badge (Harper and Row, 1976) and numerous short stories. With his wife and partner, Kim Marie Webb, their film production company, Lightsway Productions, is currently filming a documentary, Scorched Earth,to be released in 2013,  and in development on Where Buffalo Roam.  

Mr. Beigel lives in Tucson, Arizona with his wife, Kim,  and three dogs.  He has four children and five grandchildren.
