Riassunto: Soon after being appointed a county court judge in 1900, Benjamin Barr Lindsey saw a need for a juvenile court system, so he created one. Juvenile offenders were no longer judged as adults. Because of Benjamin’s good work, Denver’s juvenile court was copied all over the United States. Today the Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse in Denver is named in his honor.
