An easy-to-use, five-step guide to healing your credit and changing your financial well being, this book was derived from years of experience.
Credit expert Jeff Stout, who has helped thousands of clients improve their scores, teaches that individuals can achieve real, lasting change only through personal involvement in the credit improvement process. This book helps people to do just that in simple, easy to follow steps, and manages to entertain readers at the same time, in a no-nonsense approach to the subject written in non-technical language. This book helps to make the process simple while driving home the point that changes in habits are the only true anchors of lifetime credit health. This is no ordinary credit repair book.
Jeff Stout was born in Frankfurt, Germany, where his father was serving in the United States Army. He was raised in Utah, primarily in the Salt Lake City area, where he attended high school and was, among other things, a National Merit Scholar.
Jeff went to work straight out of high school after his parents divorced, as he was financially on his own at that point in time. It took him a few years to find a real niche in life after various career experiments, including a memorable and locally legendary termination from the Post Office and a two year stint selling timeshare properties.
After deciding that a career selling timeshares was not in the cards, Jeff ended up working his way up the ladder at FedEx, where he gained a reputation as a turnaround specialist. He eventually directed the largest facility in the nearest contiguous four states. He was awarded three separate Service Circle of Excellence awards for producing the top performing organization in the nation. Jeff then accepted an offer from another firm who wanted his help integrating several recently acquired companies into one cohesive division, which required a complete overhaul of organizational structure and operations flow.
That reorganized division was subsequently sold for piles of cash to an outside investor, who promptly severed all upper management personnel.
He found an opportunity in the mortgage industry, where he created a business from scratch, growing the company into the fourth most recognized mortgage outfit in the state of Utah, behind only big brand names like Countrywide.
Meanwhile, he devised methods for improving and maintaining credit scores, including his proprietary five step system.
When he is not helping people improve their financial lives, he likes to cook, fish, and play with his daughter, Emma, whom he is raising to change the world.
