Condizione libro: Good
Edizione: First Edition.
No date. Glazed beveled boards, pale green with yellow sunflowers/border design and black lettering. 29 pages. Color illustrations. Light green endpapers. "Engraved and Printed by Edmund Evans" on title page. Also has the publisher's London address on the title page. Not sure what state/issue that makes this - there seems to be some confusion about it. Very light foxing to preliminary pages, otherwise pages clean and tight. Front hinge paper beginning to crack. Tiny label on front endpaper stating that this book was "supplied by Edward Baker, 14 & 16 John Bright Street, Birmingham, England, The most Expert Bookfinder Extant." Board edges moderately worn, boards lightly soiled, with some indentations in the glaze. No jacket, as seems to be called for, but the book is encased in a sort of "wraparound" of three hardcover panels covered in green cloth. Then this is encased in a green cloth-covered slipcase made to look like a book with a dark green "spine" with five raised bands and gilt lettering. This "spine" shows some wear and scuffing, otherwise the slipcase is clean and unworn. (Some day I'm going to find out what that 3-panel wraparound thing is called.) Size: 10 x 8 Inches.
