THE PARADE WAS COORDINATED WITH SIMILAR EVENTS IN OTHER AMERICAN CITIES, BUT CHICAGO'S APRIL 27 PARADE WAS UNIQUE: IT CULMINATED IN DISORDER AND VIOLENCE, WITH TWENTY PERSONS INJURED AND EIGHTY ARRESTED.THE BOOKLET CONTAINS 10 B/W PHOTOGRAPHS, SOME DEPICT POLICE CONFRONTING MARCHERS, BEATING PARADERS ON THE GROUND WITH CLUBS AND DRAGGING SOME TO A POLICE WAGON.
