Riassunto: By carefully examining each verse of Second Peter and thinking about them in the context of the present day, we can begin to appreciate anew the wonder of God's Word. In The Exhortations of Peter, author John LeHew Sr. explores ninety-four meditations throughout Second Peter in a format useful for Bible students of every level, from the new believer or the person who has known the Lord for many years. This unique study examines each verse carefully in context and then expands to provide practical application of the Word of God relevant to today. LeHew makes use of puritan commentaries as well as hymns from the 1600 and 1700s, enhancing the process of meditation and providing deeper insight. In addition, each meditation has a Reflection Moment, which will help the reader to focus specifically on the topic of the verse. It is easier than we know to meditate, and doing so in the context of God's Word can bring us benefits that touch the soul and draw the reader closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
