A centennial history of the home of Missouri's State Fair, drawn from a variety of sources including oral memories of many older residents. Period photographs, business and industrial histories, prominent personages, military and economic influences, and outlook for the future. A good, solid history, without much of the "family history" and advertising found in many similar compilations, well written and chronologically arranged. Solid and tight 126 page softcover, stiff blue covers with image of founder George R. Smith, lightly worn at the edges but overall a very nice coipy of a hard to find local history. Ulteriori informazioniOrders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are included in the book price and are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required (only very rarely does this happen). International rates from the US have increased markedly recently, and we cannot absorb large differences, so we may request additional overseas shipping charges if the book you order will not fit in a Priotity Mail envelope. If in doubt, please feel free to e-mail and we can give you an exact cost.
