First Edition. Octavo, brick red cloth covered boards with black and gold filled blindstamp decorations and gilt spine title. 243pp. including index of Latin names and index of Common and Provincial names. A sound, internally clean and mostly unmarked ex-library volume with bright gilt. Blanked out bookplate on pastedown, spine label remains, pocket part remains on rear pastedown. Top of front joint beginning to split at cloth but still solid. Faint remains of whitish stain at one corner and slight rubbing to fore edge of rear board. Spine ends rubbed. Despite the catalogue of defects noted, none is egregious and this is still a very sound internally clean and quite presentable volume. Very good. SCARCE. Codice articolo 05139
