From Library Journal:
Sport statisticians Ignatin and Barra address the basic question, "How good is each football team relative to all other teams?" Their conclusions are based on a rating system that incorporates such factors as strength of schedule, home field advantage, and margin of victory. Both the professional (NFL) and collegiate ranks are covered, though a team-by-team analysis of the former forms the bulk of the work. Apparently the authors intend this to become an annual publication and to do for football fans what Bill James Baseball Abstract has done for followers of the national pastime. Recommended for popular collections. William H. Hoffman, Ft. Myers-Lee Cty. P.L., Fla.
