Riguardo questo articolo

First Edition. Original 143 page temporary shooting script, dated August 20, 1943, for an unproduced film ÔGoodnight NurseÕ - not to be confused with other films with that same title released between 1913 and 1929. With extensive annotations, corrections, and margin notes in pencil in Arthur SheekmanÕs hand, some of which are musings over casting the lead characters with popular actors of the day, including Jack Lemmon, Dick Van Dyke, and Bob Newhart. Bradbound. A well-worn copy with some dust soiling and spotting to the covers and tearing to the edges. Arthur Sheekman (1901 - 1978) started out as a newspaper columnist and drama critic with the ÔManhattan NewspaperÕ before turning his sights to a career in the Hollywood film industry. In 1931 he worked as a scenarist for the classic Marx Brothers film ÔMonkey BusinessÕ which was the beginning of SheekmanÕs close personal and professional relationship with Groucho Marx. Sheekman also worked as a script writer on the Marx Brothers film ÔDuck SoupÕ and on Groucho and ChicoÕs radio series ÔFlywheel, Shyster, and FlywheelÕ. Other Sheekman film projects include the 1933 Eddie Cantor musical ÔRoman ScandalsÕ (where he met his future bride, the lovely actress Gloria Stuart), Danny KayeÕs ÔWonder ManÕ (1945), Bing CrosbyÕs ÔWelcome StrangerÕ (1947) and ÔMr. MusicÕ (1950), Joe E. BrownÕs ÔThe GladiatorÕ (1938), ÔCall Me MadamÕ (1953), and Daniel MannÕs ÔAdaÕ (1961). Codice inventario libreria 18330E
