1st edition, 5th printing the revised and enlarged edition, very good condition, small wear to binding, with a good dust jacket, wear and small chips to dust jacket edges, dust jacket edges reinforced by scotch tape, published by Carl Waring Jones, Minneapolis, 1006 pages. A classic textbook on performing great feats of Magic, sleight of hand with cards, coins, balls, ropes, mind reading, magic squares, stage illusions, presentation, Magicana, etc. All by one hundred and seven of the then renowned Magicians of the day and their predecessors, and how to do over seven hundred of their tested Magical effects, illustrated with 1,150 drawings by Harlan Tarbell. A signed and dated presentation from Al Baker to Warren Simms, a prominent Magician of the day and confidant of Al Baker. Tipped in is a photograph of Al Baker pasted on the front pastdown, also on the front free endpaper is a newspaper obituary of Al Baker, also their is a newspaper photograph, from the Minneapolis Journal of Jean Hugard, Carl Jones, and Harlan Tarbell reviewing the makeup of Greater Magic, a clipping photograph of John Northern Hilliard, also, Carl Jones as publisher, and a full page photo and obituary from the Linking Ring, there are also small cutout photos of H. Adrian Smith, Howard Thurston, Dai Vernon, Ted Anneman, Harry Blackstone, Milbourne Christopher, David Bamberg, tipped in next to their respective comments.
