Riassunto: It s not the price you pay for the product, it s the product you get for the price. Since you will probably only buy one book to learn how to clean windows, why not buy the best instead of the cheapest. DO IT YOURSELF GUIDE FOR WINDOW CLEANING is the best. It contains everything you need to know about cleaning glass and starting a business. In the Equipment & Supplies chapter, there are color photographs and descriptions of the various types of equipment now being used by the Pros. The Techniques chapter contains 48 color photographs; an actual step by step pictorial of a journeyman window cleaner cleaning a window using the swirl method, the straight pull method, cleaning a box window and the proper procedures for poll work. The Helpful Hints & Safety Procedures chapter contains pertinent information that will save you time and money and the most important thing, your life. The Business End chapter takes you through all the steps necessary to start your own small business, such as licenses and certificates, insurance, advertising, bidding jobs, writing proposals and hiring help. There is also a copy of a standard proposal. DO IT YOURSELF GUIDE FOR WINDOW CLEANING may be compact in size but it's big on information, which, for the do-it-yourselfer, makes it ideal for on the job referencing. Although there are many new products on the market today, basic window cleaning techniques and equipment being used by most journeyman today are the same as they were over 100 years ago, therefore, DO IT YOURSELF GUIDE FOR WINDOW CLEANING will never go out of date. With the information in this book, you can learn to clean windows like the Pros, and if you so desire, become a Pro and make the money the Pros make. Use Search Inside the Book to see more. My critics are very adamant about how bad my book is. However, they are technically offering you advise. Order both books and keep the one you think is best and return the other. Be your own judge. There must be a reason why my competitor does not offer Search Inside the Book.
About the Author: George entered the window cleaning business in 1986 as strictly a small family business. However, as Las Vegas grew so did the company and soon he was in the high-rise window cleaning business. With his casino experience and background in management and engineering, he soon acquired contracts on the majority of high-rise buildings in southern Nevada. Expanding the business meant designing and fabricating new equipment, developing new techniques and hiring more help. However, there was a shortage of competent help, so he took inexperienced applicants and trained them to be window cleaners, and the majority of his former employees are still in the business, and owe their careers to his training. In 1992, George and Michael Omalia published the first book on window cleaning, "Beginners Guide to Window Cleaning." George also owned a large window cleaning supply company, and after retiring in 2005, he realized that, with all the new equipment and techniques that have been developed over the years, it was time for a new book on window cleaning.
