The book systematically introduces the theories and practices of international human rights law. The first chapter introduces the concept of international human rights law, the type of international human rights, the division of the three generations of human rights, international human rights law before and after World War II and the promotion of United Nations to international human rights protection; the second chapter introduces the application of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other conventions on international human rights in China. The third chapter focuses on the introduction of human rights protection mechanisms. The fourth chapter describes the human rights mechanisms in Europe, America and Africa. The fifth chapter introduces the relation between human rights and t sovereignty, the relation between international human rights law and international humanitarian law, and the relation between international human rights law and international criminal law. Chapter 6 focuses on the challenges to human rights from non-state actors, terrorism, poverty and environmental degradation. The final chapter introduces the human rights advocates and practices of China.
