Riassunto: This book layers a simple children's poem over a collage of information for the most common native trees found in Inland Northwest forests. The varied content on each page will inspire children of different ages and allow this book to grow as a child's interests mature. Several supplements are provided to help parents, teachers, and counselors become skilled at tree identification and to stimulate learning in a forest environment.
L'autore: Amy Ross-Davis is originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, where she spent her time playing in the salty Bay of Fundy air and studying forest-floor mosses. She earned a PhD from Purdue University in Indiana before moving to Moscow, Idaho with her husband, Anthony. There, she works with forest pathogenic fungi and enjoys exploring the region with Anthony and their children, Samuel and Abigail.
