The Canadian Northern Railway's application for land to build a hotel was pre-dated by the GTPR application of 1911. JASPER PARK LODGE originated in 1922 - a Canadian National project. This 91 page volume deals with such topics as : Point Cabin, Major Fred Brewster, Tent City , a silver totem pole golf trophy, movie stars like Bing Crosby, the fire of 1952, Sky Line Trail Rides, bicycle-waiters, bear-watching buses, fishing, and mountain-climbing guides.
