The "Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have re-cased with new boards, front and back, covered in green cloth, old spine stuck front cover stuck to the new cover and spine. In black cloth boards, gilt titles on front, good, tight, straight covers, but with water damage on front. Spine tight, gilt titles, (faded). Endpapers new, clean, inserted by the same "Bindery Team". Cut edges age-toned. Text block only slightly tanned, but with water damage to early pages after the endpapers, up till the Introduction, and from page 266 to end. Richard Daft (1835-1900) was an English cricketer. He was one of the best batsmen of his day, the peak of his first-class career (which lasted from 1858 to 1891) being the 1860s and early 1870s. He appeared in only a handful of matches after 1880. Most of his major cricket was played for Nottinghamshire and the All England Eleven, and he captained the former side from 1871 to 1880.
