1st edn., Hardback in dw.1960. Signed by the author on the dedication page, with alteration to the dedication. Book VG - green cloth clean but three small stains to page edges and a few pages have small corner folds. Ends of spine slightly knocked. Half of rear free ep removed. Minor foxing to eps, else clean internally. Unclipped dw a little lightened in places. Edge-worn with some chipping - largest area of loss is 2cm square from base of spine. Codice articolo 9393

A very good copy, the boards of which are darkened along the edges and the spine, clean inside. Dustwrapper darkened on spine and along the edges, tape repair to the top and bottom of spine has inked through, back of the wrapper with four small size chips along the edges and rubbing along folds, but still complete and at least very good. Signed by the Author with her full name on the dedication page, where she crossed out the printed name of the dedicatee ("Janice") and wrote the correct "Jamie" underneath. Despite the condition, this classic of post-war fiction still has a good feel and is rarely encountered signed. CHF 300. Signatur des Verfassers. Codice articolo 000104
