Frodo and the Companions of the Ring have been beset by danger during their quest to prevent the Ruling Ring from falling into the hands of the Dark Lord. They have lost the wizard, Gandalf, and must now continue their journey alone down the River Anduin.

J.R.R.Tolkien (1892-1973) was a distinguished academic, though he is best known for writing The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, plus other stories and essays. His books have been translated into over 80 languages and have sold many millions of copies worldwide.

Alan Lee was invited to illustrate the centenary edition of The Lord of the Rings, which led to further Tolkien editions, including The Hobbit and the three ‘Great Tales’: The Children of H�rin, Beren and L�thien and The Fall of Gondolin. He worked as Conceptual Designer and Set Decorator on both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies, receiving the Academy Award for Best Art Direction for his work on The Return of the King.

Books will be shipped within 1-5 days of orders being received. Shipping costs are based on books of 2kg or less. Increased shipping may be requested for books larger than this weight. Each book is packaged in a cardboard book wrap and bubble wrap for it's protection and your peace of mind. For high value books we may suggest that you may want to pay an additional cost to cover a higher insurance than the standard rate the courier offers.
