Riguardo questo articolo

London: Editions Poetry, 1947. First edition. A very good copy bound in green cloth with rubbed gilt spine lettering and with a small stain at the bottom of the front panel not affecting the text, in a very good dustwrapper with shallow chips at the extremities and slight darkening to the spine and front and rear panels. Overall, a good example of this scarce item. With a portrait frontispiece and one photograph. Printed on cheap wartime paperstock which is quite tanned, but still a good sound copy in the second state (re-priced) wrapper with several internal tape repairs. Nabokov's famed essay on his fellow-countrymen, a landmark in criticism of the author of Dead Souls and other works. It is his second English-language book. Codice inventario libreria 009237
