Old Lampasas Post Office Books is a private collection located in the basement of the historic post office in Lampasas, Texas. Our 1500-square-foot library includes 10,000+ books, magazines, and pamphlets, as well as postcards and other paper collectibles. Many genres and subjects are represented, with a particular focus on Texas history, Americana, and Native American history. We are the authorized custodian of books authored by, or in the private library of Robert H. Thonhoff.
