Riassunto: We Are All in a Pickle Now is an intriguing and thought-provoking compilation of essays and poetry by Howard P. Starr II. With his essays, Mr. Starr deals on head-on with some of the most controversial issues facing not only the United States but the world as well. In his initial offering, The Next Global Conflict: Water, the author says that a global war will ensue over limited natural resources specifically, water. He calls for immediate and drastic action and suggests that only population control and reduction will resolve it. In Survey Results, the author presents his findings from an informal, anonymous survey he conducted in March 2008 in a rural midwestern community. The survey deals with a host of socio-economic-political issues. Another essay, titled Resolving Global Overpopulation Issues, states the author s objective for presenting in your face perspectives that most people refuse to acknowledge. Other thoughtful writings round out Mr. Starr s head-on approach for getting his message out. In addition, the author presents a poetry section called Musings by Me, a Madman (A Life of Lies) that shows full range of Mr. Starr s talent. Readers will be engaged and entertained by this timely book.
