In Two Volumes, both present. You can see the covers of both volumes in the photos. The leather is worn and peeling. Little bits of it have been coming off as I handle the volumes. The photographs will show you everything that I can see. I'll just mention that there is a partial tear on the rear inside cover that doesn't quite make it through all the way to the outer rear cover (the back of the book). Both volumes are square and their spines are straight. If you look from the sides you can see a thin open space between the inside covers and end papers. That's the case with both volumes. However, the covers are pretty securely bound with most of the twined bindings intact. Therefore none of the four covers are in danger of detaching. The binding of the pages is excellent. All of the pages in both volumes, without exception, are nicely, tightly bound from cover to cover. The pages are also exceptionally clean. In scrolling through, I saw only around a dozen or so pages over both volumes with few little spots. I didn't see any foxing at all. There is an occasional little crease just below or above the tip of a corner, but nothing dramatic. The last 10 to 15 pages of Volume 1 have a light crease just below the top corner. I saw one instance of a tiny loss at a bottom corner, not reaching near to the print. There is also a little nick to the top edge of Volume 2. It created a very small tear at the top edge of 19 consecutive pages toward the end of the volume, none coming anywhere near the print. There are no markings in either volume. There are no attachments of any kind in either volume. The only writing to be found is an old signature of a previous owner off the top edge of the title page in both volumes. I have provided a photograph of the title page of Volume 1. This title page has some toning at its margins. That is also the case on the two page before it and a few pages following it. After that, I don't see any toning at the margins of the pages. The same pattern exists with Volume 2. Volume 2 also has two spots in the same place at the margin of five consecutive early pages. 'As a pastoral writer ('in some respects the best in the world', according to James Henry Leigh Hunt), Ramsay contributed, at an early stage, to the naturalistic reaction of the 18th century. His Gentle Shepherd, by its directness of impression and its appreciation of country life, anticipates the attitude of the school which broke with neoclassical tradition.'.

More important than selling the book I want to make sure that you know, as much as is possible, exactly what you are getting. To that end, you'll notice that my descriptions of condition tend to be lengthy, and that there will always be photographs to help you draw your own conclusions. As regards international shipping, the first class or standard rates I charge are based on a package weight between 2 and 3 pounds. If the book is on the thin side there is a possibility that I can securely pack it up under 2 pounds in weight. If so, the shipping price will drop by around $11.00 or $12.00 to $26.00-27.00. Canada, which is less expensive drops to $18.00. You can contact me before purchasing a book for an estimate on the shipping cost. If you buy the book and it weighs in below 2 pounds you'll get a Reduced Shipping message and amount with the invoice and you'll see the lowered final cost before you make your payment.

Effetti del recesso

Se recedi dal presente contratto, ti saranno rimborsati tutti i pagamenti che hai effettuato a nostro favore, compresi i costi di consegna (ad eccezione dei costi supplementari derivanti dalla tua eventuale scelta di un tipo di consegna diverso dal tipo meno costoso di consegna standard da noi offerto). Potremo trattenere dal rimborso le somme derivanti da una diminuzione del valore del prodotto risultante da una tua non necessaria manipolazione.

I rimborsi verranno effettuati senza indebito ritardo e in ogni caso non oltre 14 giorni dal giorno in cui siamo stati informati della tua decisione di recedere dal presente contratto.

Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione del bene diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni.

Eccezioni al diritto di recesso

Il diritto di recesso non si applica in caso di:
