This is apparently the first collected edition, and is two volumes bound in one with continuous pagination, and with 3 engraved plates. Full brown leather binding with five raised bands along spine. Title imprinted but gilt completely disappeared. Very worn, scuffed, with many areas where the top layer of leather has rubbed away, so externally rather scruffy, but remaining robust. Splitting between top board and spine at the bottom. Hinge and text-block sound. End papers browned, with some rubbed-out pencil evidence.
