About the Author:
Ronnie Lidor, Editor is a senior lecturer at both the Zinman College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the Wingate Institute and at the Faculty of Education at Haifa University (Israel). Dr. Lidor has published about 70 articles, book chapters, and proceedings chapters in English and Hebrew. He is the senior editor of the books Sport Psychology: Linking Theory and Practice, (1999), and The World Sport Psychology SourceBook (3rd ed.), (2001), published by Fitness Information Technology (FIT). From 1997 to 2001 Dr. Lidor served as President of the Israeli Society for Sport Psychology and Sociology (ISSPS), and since 1997 he has been a member of the Managing Council of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP). In 2001 he was elected as the Secretary General of the ISSP, and he has been the editor of Movemen— Journal of Physical Education and Sport Sciences (Hebrew) since 1999.
