About the Author: Cheryl Martin Sund is a native of Evans Valley (in the hills just north of Rogue River) who left to travel but came back to raise her children on the same ranch where she and her siblings were born and raised. The Woodville Museum graciously opened their extensive collection of photographs and historical archives, while museum volunteers provided research support. Members of the community also donated photographs and shared their wonderful memories.
