This is a yearbook of those who assisted in the Atomic Bomb Project. In 1943 the Manhattan District was having trouble finding enough technically skilled people to work on the Project, so the Commanding General of the Army Service Forces authorized the establishment of the SED so that technically skilled personnel then working in the District could be formally assigned to the District. The District also recruited graduates from universities who, upon graduation were inducted into the Army and could also be assigned to the District. This yearbook pictures the hundreds of man (no women) who were assigned together with their name, home address and technical specialty (electrical engineer, chemist physicist estimator design engineer metallurgist, estimator etc.)Other sections show pictures of the base and recreational and social activities. About 130 unnumbered pages. Plastic spiral bound. Gilt blue and red design with SED logo on stiff wraps. A scarce and interesting piece of Atomic Bomb history. Codice inventario libreria MIL 492
