They saw action on the Somme and at the Battles of Ypres, Cambrai and Givenchy-Festubert among others. The author was the Senior Chaplain of the Division. This scarce Liverpool Daily Post Printers first edition is in fair to good condition. Bound in green boards with red titles and Red Rose of Lancashire motif, it has some foxing to page edges. Binding is slightly loose at some internal pages, where it has been repaired with tape. Ex private libris bookplate at front paste down.
