Bound in contemporary quarter red leather over marbled boards with large color illustrated title label pressed onto the front cover. Bookplate of William Asheton Tonge with his Coat-Armour on the front paste-down endpaper. A few penciled bibliographic notes on the front endpapers. A few spots of foxing on the endpapers and a few of the preliminary and final pages. Small library plate on the reverse of the frontis. No other library markings, plates or pockets were ever present.
