Grosset & Dunlap, copyright 1927, published 1931. A very early reprint in only Fair condition. The exterior is very worn: it has a slight slant, with four bumped and slightly fraying corners, head & heel of spine bumped with fraying, a 5" tear along the front gutter ridge (the bottom 2-1/2" look as if it has been a DIY glue job) and a water-stained front board (the interior damage is quite minor and affects only through the title page). Except for an inked inscription and a penciled name on the FFEP, the interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage. Paper is lightly tone but a bit stiff. Both hinges are weak--the binding is split at the frontis, where the cheesecloth is showing-- while the paper over the rear hinge is torn exposing the entire length; however, both are holding nicely. The list at the rear of the book lists 10 Hardy Boys titles. Definitely only a reading copy. Codice articolo BMR-2021-1-1-3
