Riguardo questo articolo

no date is given but believed to be around 1892 based on light pencil marking on inside cover: Harold Smith Christmas 1892 which is the approximate date that Nister moved to 25 St. Bride in London. indicates that it was printed by E. Nister of Nuremburg. Illustrator thought to be Randolph Caldecott but have not been able to verify. The front cover is detached; may be possible to rethread as there are only about 14 pages to this oblong shaped children's classic. Measures approx 7" x 9".Except for reference light penciled owner's name, there are no other markings in the book which is full of illustrations about half of which are in color. the front cover has a barely noticable crease and the back cover shows some light soiling. For a children's book over 100 years old, it is in fine condition. Other images available upon request. The book is subject to prior sale. Codice inventario libreria sasos10042007

Descrizione libreria

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
