A lovely little leather volume of Longfellow's classic poem,The Song of Hiawatha. A volume of "The Choice Books." Brown leather with gilt-embossed titling and decoration on spine, blind-stamped decorative border on front surrounding gilt, black and blind-stamped decoration, upper text block edge is gilt, other edges are untrimmed, brown end papers, sepia frontispiece, tan decoration and border on title page, 205 pages, 5-page glossary at end, one page of publisher's advertising at front, tiny bookseller's plate on rear end paper. Corners and spine ends have wear, less wear to edges, shelf wear with two small rubbed spots on back, bump to free edge of rear board, smaller bump to leading edge of front board, spine slightly sunned, gilt titling and top edge still bright, other text block edges darkened, foxing spots to first and last few pages, occasional tiny foxing spots in text, tiny crease to upper corner of all pages. This is a very handsome little volume, in great condition. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
