L'autore: Tanya Whiton is a Portland, Maine-based writer. A former contributor to Casco Bay Weekly, The Portland Phoenix and Maine Public Radio, Tanya holds two New England Press Association awards and was recipient of the 2000 & 2009 Martin Dibner Fellowships for Fiction and Poetry. Her work has been published in numerous literary journals, including Northwest Review and Crazyhorse 63, and her short story Giving Her Away was included in the 2006 anthology The Way Life Should Be: A Collection of Stories by Contemporary Maine Writers. She has taught writing workshops for the Lesley Seminars, Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, Stonecoast Writers Conference, and the University of Southern Maine. Ms. Whiton is currently the Associate Director of the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program.

Heidi Killion is a Portland, Maine-based photographer and designer. Formerly a regular contributor to the Portland Phoenix, she has worked as an assistant at the June Fitzpatrick and Zero Station galleries; as a set and costume designer for The Deal, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2003 U.S. National Short Film Competition; and as a consultant on two short films by Lighthouse Productions. A graduate of the Maine Photographic Workshops and the Studio Arts Program at the University of Southern Maine, Ms. Killion was the recipient of a USM SURF grant for her work on Two For the Road: Adventures in Maine. She is currently pursuing teacher certification for K-12 Art Education.
