Riguardo questo articolo

Rare and quite attractive binding by T.P. McDavitt of New Orleans. Date is no given but in the 1800s. Rust cloth with gilt lettering on spine and a gilt design on the front. Edges are beveled ; corners bumped. Silver fishing at various places on the boards. See image. Top edge is gilted. Insides, especially the first few pages are foxed moderate to heavy on the ffep. Former library copy from Mobile College indicated on one page only (title page) Advertisements for other publications by Nimmo are laid in but book is very tight, no loose pages . NO internal writing . The laid in ads are especially dark almost looking like that were exposed to a fire. Unusal considering they look nothing like the rest of the pages in the book. The books looks and feel better than described. Codice inventario libreria twog09022007

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
