Twelve volume set. Sextodecimo [15.5 cm] Burgundy limp leather wraps with gilt stamping on the backstrips. Black endpapers. The extremities are lightly rubbed, the backstrips are subtly faded, and there are a handful of small closed tears and chips to the ends of the backstrips. There are just a few cracks to the text blocks. The fore-edge of the front cover of volume 5 is bumped. Pp. 409-424 in volume 10 are completely detached, but present. The text block of volume 12 is just beginning to pull away from the spine at the rear. The volumes are housed in the publisher's case, which is heavily rubbed. *All 12 volumes do not completely fit in the box (one volume must be left out). May require extra postage due to weight.
