The text of a lecture given by Green on April 13, 1949. Green was a Harvard educated Professor of English at the University of Hawaii, and his lecture examines the evolution of the English language. Covers show light general wear and mild toning, with modest creasing. Interior is clean and unmarked, with mild creasing to pages. 17 pp. Approx. 6" x 9". A very nice copy of a scarce edition.
