Light green printed wrappers. Small quarto. 79pp. 500 copies printed (according to note on front cover). This report was printed from a manuscript found among the Jefferson Papers. It concerns a treaty of commerce between the two countries which Washington made in 1789-90 through Gouverneur Morris which was rejected by the English cabinet. A fair copy with the front cover detached and with much chipping and soiling to the wrappers. The text is largely uncut with some light soiling and wear. Scarce. Codice articolo 7318
