119p., line illustrations throughout the text, softbound, 7.5x5 inch staplebound textblock in paste-fastened wraps, very toned, acidic and fragile. Wraps are detached and chipped, a reading copy. Run-on gags by a Henny Youngman incarnation (our era's is better); no copies listed by OCLC as of March 2015. Illustrations are credited in plate to "Allan;" these are competent, strange (hands are drawn huge!) and wholly silly, except that the cover vignette betrays a Harrison Fisher influence. Publisher's ads on the last leaves and back cover, where we find that Ogilvie offers The Kreutzer Sonata as well as Ten True Secret Service Detective Stories. Codice articolo 194156
