No date, but a gift note from 'Grandma' dated 1893 on the front free endpaper. A collection of biblical passages and extracts from poems by Christina Rosetti, J. M. Neale, George Herbert and others, for every day in the month (31) , accompanied by charming chromolithographic full glossy colour prints (the first true multi-colour printing method) and sepia illustrations. Full colour pictorial (chromolithographic) paper covered boards with a light blue cloth spine. The edge of the boards are a little rubbed and marked but overall this is an Excellent Very Clean, Tight and Bright copy. Plain endpapers - slightly marked at the edges. 24 pp. Printed in Bavaria - and very similar to the lovely Ernest Nister publications of the period. A delightful period item. Now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks VG. ; Square-ish 24mo 5" - 6" tall.
