Just a hint of light foxing top fore-edge. It is minor. Very good, price clipped, dust jacket. The jacket is orange, black and white. Descrizione libro hardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Boehme, Jacob : The Signature of All Things and other writings. Cambridge (UK) : James Clarke & Co., 1969. Published by arrangement with J.M. Dent; yet another publisher has tipped in their info on the title page over the Clarke printing: The Attic Press, Inc, of Greenwood (SC). **this is a reader's copy, structurally quite sound but heavily annotated** Size is octavo (8vo), 8.75"/22cm h. Bound in publisher's cream paper boards, dark blue lettering to spine. Matte color dj. Plain blue-gray endpapers. Xii pp prelim material, 1-295 numbered pp, [296] blank. Intro (by Clifford Bax); Preface to the reader (apparently by John Ellistone, but not credited); 16 chaps of Signatura Rerum; "Of the Supersensual Life: Two dialogues.", and "The Way from Darkness to True Illumination: A Discourse." Condition notes: **this is a reader's copy, structurally quite sound but heavily annotated**, thus: numerous pages show underlining and schoarly marginalia, most in pencil, some in black pen, and a few in red ink; no highlighting. A solidly built copy, the boards show moderate wear/rubbing, spine ends rolled, corners bumped. Unclipped dj retains good color, has numerous closed tears and small chips, e.g. 3" closed tear to rear tail flap fold. Endpapers somewhat sunned; former owner's bookplate to front pastedown. No translator is credited for any of the works in this volume: this version of Signatura Rerum has been referred to in some sources as the "William Law translation" and elsewhere credited to John Ellistone. We personally inspect every book we offer. **this is a reader's copy, structurally quite sound but heavily annotated**. Codice articolo 230322004
