Since earning his doctoral degree in International Relations from the American Graduate School in Paris and a master’s degree in French Literature from Ohio University, Dr. Harold “Will” Bashor has taught at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and his academic interests have focused on European history, diplomatic relations, and the history of treaty-making. Studying in Paris and spending his spare time rummaging through historical archives and museums, Will had the opportunity to collect rare documents related to the imprisonment of the royal family during the French Revolution, which also focused on the life of their servant, Jean-Baptiste Cléry.
