Dr. William McKeown is an Assistant Professor of Art History for the Department of Art at the University of Memphis, Tennessee. He received his MA in Art History and Criticism from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and his Ph.D. in the History and Criticism of Art from Florida State University. In addition to Ruskinian topicsk, he has published and presented papers on the Ricketts and Shannon circle of artists in late nineteenth-century Britain.
