Eric Lund is Professor of Religion at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. His primary field of research has been sixteenth- and seventeenth-century religious life in Germany. Dr. Lund is the editor of Documents from the History of Lutheranism 1517-1750 and has published extensively on popular piety and practical religious literature in Germany from the period of the Protestant Reformation to the rise of the Pietist movement. He holds a PhD from the Yale University Graduate School.
