J. Ronald Miner is a Professor and an Extension Water Quality Specialist in the Bioresource Engineering Department at Oregon State University. Dr. Miner has been actively involved in livestock waste management, teaching, research, and extension for the past 30 years.

Frank J. Humenik is a Professor and Coordinator of the Animal Waste Management Program in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolins State University. Dr. Humenik has conducted research, teaching, and extension activities in waste management and water quality for the past 31 years.

Michael R. Overcash is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University. Dr. Overcash is a leader in the study of the beneficial reuse of animal waste and of environmental effects of agricultural practices.
