Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Size 370mmX275mm. The authors of Ukiyo-e to Shin hanga include scholars of international reputation from seven countries and three continents. Together they tell the full story of Japanese printmaking, both single-sheet prints and illustrated books and albums. As well as the Edo period the book covers in detail the often-neglected but beautiful prints of the Meiji (1868-1912) and Taisho (1912-1926) periods. All this is illustrated with more than 200 colour plates, many of rarely seen pieces in private collections, together with black and white photographs and diagrams. The book is in very nice condition EXCEPT for heavy rubbing at the top and bottom while the jacket has 2 tiny tears at the top near the spine. Please note: The postal rate for this title, within Australia, will vary between A$15.00 and A$29.00. Please check with the seller.
