This catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition organized by the Georgia Museum of Art and scheduled to travel for a couple of years to venues in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. It presents 128 paintings by as many artists, each painting on a full page, with commentary and biographical information. The collector, Jason Schoen, provides an introductory essay; another essay (by Erika Dass) discusses this period of American realist paintings, and the third (by Andrew Ladis) is titled "George Biddle, Raphael Soyer, and the Genius with a Thousand Faces."
